Building a Network Marketing Internet Business

Network Marketing Internet Business
Network marketing used to be a face-to-face business, where people would recruited those they knew personally onto their teams and down-lines and, like for instance Mary Kay, everything was up close and personal. Distributors would invite those people into their homes for make up demonstrations and then sell the business, it was simply a social and private affair.

The network marketing Internet business seems to be a more impersonal process, but this is where most new network marketers are hanging out. But there is a problem. People are failing at Internet network marketing, because they don't understand that old concept of personal service.

It's wonderful that millions of people can be reached through the Internet, that's where off-line network marketing was terribly limited, but unfortunately few new Internet marketers understand the idea of old style "belly to belly" marketing. They have never been in a face-to-face sales situation and as a result they don't have an appreciation for what the term "attraction marketing" means.

It is the same principle that has worked for decades...  you like me, you buy from me, it is that simple. That is how Mary Kay, Pampered Cook and others have stayed in the business so long, together with the many other successful MLM businesses that have made their mark. I know you've seen those pink Cadillacs driven by wealthy looking women, they did not get those Cadillac by selling a handful of lipsticks!

So what's the idea of attraction network marketing on the internet?

Essentially you set out to help people.

The Internet is still the information highway and that is what most people are looking for... information. They are normally attempting to find information to help them with a problem. People are increasingly more well-educated these days thanks to the Internet, and they actually don't purchase the very first thing that comes along, they conduct exhaustive research first, and may even visit social media sites like Facebook and YouTube, and ask questions on forums or read articles on the subject. Then they buy.

This is exactly the way your business needs to be. You need to be where those potential customers are. It does not mean going on Twitter and posting "buy my product" every ten minutes. You've got to gain peoples trust by proving that you're an expert, and that you actually would like to help the person answer their question or solve their problem. That's online attraction marketing.

If you are an amateur in the Internet marketing business, there are lots of other places you can advertise and the great thing is... after you get your first few sales you can then invest those revenues by collaborating in PPC advertising and perhaps others targeted advertising, But I would wait a bit on that.

Find a system that can work for you and stick with it. Everyone needs a good system in network marketing, and it wouldn't hurt to have an entrepreneurial attitude.
